Christmas preparations, and 8 months with our little chilli pepper [12-06-2017]
Hello everyone. It’s been… too long, since I last made an update on the blog. Life has been quite stressful, with my mother also being sick and passing away. Halloween wasn’t as joyful as expected, but we still got the best out of it. Now after my mother’s funeral, we’re slowly starting to get our life back on track. It’s never easy when someone you love pass away, but Sam and I both want Christmas to be special. Not only for the sake of our kids, but for us as a family.
The kids are all doing really well. Of course, Eliana misses her grandmother, so Sam and I are doing our best to help her through this tough time, and keep her happy. Our little Xochitl Mireya is 8 months old, and is doing great. She’s still our happy baby, and continue to grow and thrive. She’s not so tiny anymore, at a whopping 18 pounds and 24 inches. She’s able to sit up on her own now, has nearly 4 teeth, with one slowly coming through at the moment. Teething hasn’t been a huge struggle for her yet, so that’s wonderful. She’s not shy, and loves to “talk” to everyone around her, and can always be seen with a smile on her face.
Also, while I’m here. Let’s do a quick OOTD before I go:
