The boys had a blast hanging out with Matty today! They got to jump on my bed, play silly games around the house, build a fort and play with our new furry pals.
He and I both want a pup now. Sooo baddd. Haha thanks for having us overrrr💋

Loverboy.
Matty sees me constantly changing my hair color and wanted to have “pretty hair” too. I tried explaining to him that his hair was very pretty and he didn’t need the color. He said “well, mommy has it.” So we went to the store and got some hair chalk. After wetting his hair we applied it and it came out waaay brighter than I thought it would. It’s gonna wash out tonight, but so far he’s enjoying his green hair. You all can expect to see more color on him quite soon(:
(btw he’s completely obsessed with cape. I have to sneak and wash it while he sleeps.)
I left Matty in his room while I went to shower and when I came back I couldn’t find him anywhere. The baby gate was up and although he climbs over them he hasn’t tried climbing over onto the stairs( maybe he can actually tell that’s more dangerous? I don’t know). I’m panicking as I look in the guest room, my husband and I’s room, the closets and in every nook and cranny. I rush down stairs to the garage, which my husband converted into his man cave, the tv is on Hard Knocks: Houston Texans, I hear Matty laughing and blabbering on like he understands whats going on.
They notice me and Matty points to the tv and says “Mama! Cushing!”.
Looks like Matty is gonna be playing football as soon as he’s old enough.
Why don’t I ever get pictures of his face? ha. Anywho we went to the Aquarium! Matty didn’t like it as much as the zoo but, he still had some fun. Check out hubz buying our tickets in the background. I think Matty would had a little bit more fun if his friends were there sooooo! Next trip we’re bringing his buddies along with us(:
So yesterday we decided to finally have our house warming party , we were suppose to have it last weekend, but I wasn’t feeling well.
s/o to Asia ( @carefreeblackmama ) for coming down to chill with us with her adorable family . Zyire really took to little Matty right away, they’re both the same age but look how small my baby is :- lol he gets it from me .

Awwwhhhh, Matty woke up this morning and tried to get dressed by himself because he was “going to Zyire’s house.” Hahaha. Play date soon!(:

We went to visit Matty’s uncle today for his birthday. We actually had a kinda picnic thing and just hung out. I love that even though Matthew isn’t Matty still gets to understand who he is and visit him every year.
I can’t wait to see you next year Matthew!!!!

How far along: 16 weeks!
Weight gain?: like half a pound! o.O
Maternity Clothes? Nope, although my jeans are starting to feel a bit tighter.
Bump status: Hardly there. I mean I notice a little something something, but I’m sure no one else does.
Sleep: WONDERFUL. All the time.
Baby purchases this week: I bought a baby rocker(:
Best moment regarding baby this week: Pregnancy announcement, even though that was like the last day of 15 weeks,
Gender: Je ne sais pas.
Movement: I feel like i have butterflies all the time, is it baby? or my sweet husband and wonderful son?
Food cravings: My holy trinity of fruit: Mangoes, Peaches, Nectarines.
Food aversions: Avocado (ironic)
How’s Mama? I’m pretty okay. Although, I still feel nauseous ALL THE TIME.

Our baby in veggie/fruit terms: Avocado.
Baby #2 started off as babies A and B. I had a feeling I was pregnant so we scheduled an appointment with my OBGYN. She did a test and it confirmed that we were definitely having a baby. The doctor proceed to do an ultrasound to tell how far along baby was. You can imagine my surpise when I saw two little white blobs! Yes, twins! Four weeks pregnant with two little sweetpeas.
At around seven weeks I started feeling cramping and the area around my hips hurt a lot. So, back to the doctor we went. While there I saw a little blood in the chair I had been sitting in. The doctor rushed to help us and once she checked me out, she told me we had lost baby B. It’s pretty devastating to imagine adding two babies to the family and then losing one. As sad as we were, we still feel blessed to have one baby still in there.
