Okay but how many of you writers who reblogged this are gonna listen to valid critique of your stuff when some brings up that it perpetuates something? Problematic characters are fine when the author has a good reason for them being that way that doesn’t revolve around a trope dealing with mental illness, racial stereotypes, homophobia or sexism. And yeah it’s that deep because your worldview influences your writing no matter how much you say it doesn’t .
